GOTHENBURG — The Gothenburg Chamber of Commerce is seeking public input in a new shop local survey with the goal of improving retail and service options in the community.

As part of the Gothenburg Chamber’s strategic plan, the board of directors is looking to enhance the shop at home experience in Gothenburg and increase the sales tax revenue in the city.

To that end, the chamber is asking residents to fill out a shop local survey that will guide us in improving the services and shopping options in the community.

A link to the survey can be located here.

The survey asks questions about ages, household size, work location, how often one travels out of town to shop for different items, how often they shop online, what factors influence decisions to seek services outside of town, how important supporting local businesses is, how satisfied one is with local services, what improvements one would like to see, etc.
