GRAND ISLAND — A suspect made off with a Coconut Crème pie and $179 after breaking into the Shady Bend Café during the evening of Friday, April 26.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, the owner of Shady Bend Café reported that a male suspect broke a window and frame with a rock, the damage was estimated at $500.
The suspect entered the business between 11:23 and 11:31 p.m. and stole a Coconut Crème pie from the fridge valued at $30 and cash money in the amount of $179.
The case remains under investigation.
