NEBRASKA – Postseason soccer in sub-district and district action across the area wrapped second round matchups last night, as several area teams saw their seasons continue on.
At Kearney High School, the Bearcat girls will host the A-5 District Final on Wednesday against Millard West after blasting Lincoln Northeast 8-0. The Columbus boys took down Kearney 1-0.
In the B-7 Sub-District boys semifinal at Hastings College, the Hastings Tigers downed Aurora 7-1 while Northwest eliminated Kearney Catholic in penalty kicks setting up their championship matchup tonight.
In the B-7 Sub-District girls, York downed the Stars 1-0 while Northwest handled Hastings 2-0 to set up their championship at Northwest High School tonight.
